First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation
The first step of registration requires that parents Pre-register their children by emailing the names of their children along with the sacrament they are requesting (First Communion, Confirmation) to dawn.nowicki@telus.net
First Reconciliation – A Journey of Mercy and Forgiveness
First Reconciliation is a sacred Sacrament of Healing where children encounter God's boundless mercy and forgiveness for the first time. Through this preparation, they will come to understand the beauty of saying "I'm sorry," seeking God's forgiveness, and making loving, faith-filled choices.

Celebration
First Communion – A Joyful Feast with Jesus
First Communion is a treasured moment when children receive the Body and Blood of Christ for the first time, deepening their connection to Jesus and the Church community. It is a sacred celebration of love, belonging, and faith.

Confirmation – Saying "Yes" to Faith
Confirmation is a profound step where young people affirm their faith and receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen them. It marks their full initiation into the Catholic Church and empowers them to live courageously as disciples of Christ.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA): AN INVITATION THAT NEVER ENDS
What is RCIA?
RCIA is a faith-filled journey for adults (18 and older) who are:
• Unbaptized and seeking to join the Catholic Church
• Baptized in another Christian tradition and seeking full communion
• Catholic, but have not completed all Sacraments of Initiation (First
Communion, Confirmation)
RCIA provides a welcoming, supportive environment where participants can:
• Learn about the Catholic faith
• Ask questions
• Grow in community
• Prepare to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist
at the Easter Vigil
Already Catholic? RCIA is for You, Too!
RCIA isn’t just for those new to the Church.
If you:
• Want to deepen your understanding of Catholic teachings
• Have been away from the Church and are ready to return
• Desire to grow in your relationship with Jesus
You are warmly invited to join us.
It’s never too late to rediscover your faith, ask the hard questions, and walk more closely
with Christ.

Marriage
Please contact the parish office as soon as you are engaged. The process of planning a wedding usually takes one year.
The minimum age to participate in Confirmation is twelve years old, or anyone in Grade 6 or above. Your child must have completed their First Reconciliation and First Communion to be eligible for Confirmation preparation.
